No, the TIFLEX Xeno-Pericardial Patch
is stored in a sterile phosphate buffered
solution with a pH of 7.2-7.4 and does not require additional rinse in a sterile saline solution
prior to implantation. Please see the product Instructions for Use for
handling procedures.  

No, it is not allowed to resterilize the patch. XPAND will not be liable for resterilized products.

Yes, a tissue part can be cut off with scissors or scalpel to adjust the patch dimensions and configuration.

No, any unused pieces of the TIFLEX Xeno-Pericardial Patch must be discarded as biological wastes according to standard hospital procedure.
Precaution: Do not resterilize the TIFLEX Xeno-Pericardial Patch. XPAND will not be liable for resterilized products. 

No, the outside of the container is not sterile, only the inside is. The container must not enter the sterile field.

Precaution

Do not use  the TIFLEX Xeno-Pericardial Patch in patients with individual intolerance or hypersensitivity to xenogeneic (bovine)  proteins
